Blood 
Tears 
Pain 
Sufferin
Still you don’t give a shit

Do you think it’s a joke?
Like we should get over it?
You wanna marry your person 
On this land where we got lynch 
And slaughtered….
Somebody forgot to tell you 
Or don’t care 
That this place have slaves
This place carried the abuse and neglect 
For so long..
It will haunt the bride and groom 
It will cursed their vows with consequences 
This venue should tell a real truth 
About how slaveowners raped so 
Many slaves
So many broken families 
and years later 
You got yourselves a weddin
Like get over it
But the trauma has paid so many visits 
People who worked there now
Are tellin lies 
I bet they are
Tourists took a walk in that cold area
Do they hear screams? Cries?
Do they see spirits walkin in anger?
America is hidin facts
Erasin them off the soil 
Just like they did in textbooks 
Somehow 
Black people came to find 
What’s really happenin…..
We should of keep the plantation 
And tells the whole truth….
and that we shouldn’t allow anybody to 
Have a weddin as sarcasm 
Slaves died 
That land 
Actually stolen land 
Carried death 
The grudges
They wanna be free….
And nottoway plantation 
Has let its evil self go….
That cruel manison let all the souls 
Drift off with their loved ones now
