Never forgets and never forgive in history, In 1944, as France 🇫🇷 prepared to liberate Paris from Nazi occupation, 65% of the Free French forces were African soldiers-Black men from West and Central Africa who had fought bravely across Europe.

But just before the victory, they were pulled from the frontlines and replaced with white troops to present an "all-French" liberation force to the world.
