When I posted a comment 
On somebody’s post, 
I’m not goin to lie 
But sometimes people’s replies 
Kinda slice my heart….
I shouldn’t think what people say 
Not even an insult….
Though nobody gives me any 
Or I’m unaware….
However,
I shouldn’t argue with strangers….
I usually block them 
What’s the use of internet battlefields?
It was kinda entertainin 
Cos I did my best to observe 
The ignorance of the mindsets….
Sometimes I do question my own words
I question my truth 
Yet I just wanna give my two cents 
I wanna make people think 
What if I was right?
Or I could be wrong….
And we judge harshly on people’s actions…
We shake our heads like wow…
We’re not god…
I’m not god..
Sometimes I do regret,
Like I should’ve kept my opinions to myself….
It’s a freedom of speech, 
And sometimes we have no shame in what we say 
And we don’t care….
We talk about everythin on social media 
Politics 
Racism 
Sex 
Trump 
Elon 
I mean everythin….
And when I see someone 
Post facts about racism 
I added my input 
And agree to disagree 
Even with a comment in thousands of 
Responses….
Though it doesn’t help 
The outside world…
When all we do sit behind the keyboard 
And spew words at each other….
I do that, too
I shouldn’t do that….
It’s not healthy 
It’s wastin your breath 
And mine….
There’s no use to have wars 
In the comment section 
It doesn’t save world problems….
Since we’re strong and bold, 
Can we defend ourselves in public? 
Some people never showed cowards 
On the computer screen 
But what about in person?
I’m not tryin to be hypocrite 
But there are humans like this 
Who are tough and hard 
On social platforms 
When it comes to real life, 
It’s a different story….
Immaturity exposes 
We’re adults 
There could be a kid 
In the comments section 
In grown folks’ business 
And we don’t know it, right?
It depends how careful 
How I frame my point of view 
How I express myself 
I give my commentary a soul
The real….
I can’t sugar coat the realness….
and I shouldn’t feel bad about it…
It’s just an opinion 
Not everyone will agree…
Even if it’s true 
Still not everyone will nod yes
Maybe 
Some replies I took as mean 
Or go over my head…
It depends….
I do post poems in the comments section 
For others to think 
Or roll their eyes….
I can say truth can bother 
A lot of people…
But the lies give them comfort 
Unfortunately….
