Faso overtakes Senegal in Onion Production

Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 has produced more onions than Senegal and is now the third-largest onion producer in West Africa.

It is also the second-largest onion exporter in the region, after Niger.

With over 400,000 tonnes of onions harvested, Burkina Faso may soon become the 9th largest onion producer in Africa.
