The Surma People - also known as Suris - live in the Omo River valley in southern Ethiopia, 600km from Addis Ababa, near the border with Sudan.
The tribe excels in body paint and plant ornaments. Men, women, children, use their bodies and headscarves of flowers and leaves to express their constant search for beauty with ancestral artistic sensitivity.
