France now claims it wants to revive its partnership with Niger — this time with “sincerity.” They’re even offering to return colonial artifacts they looted.
But Niger’s revolutionary leadership stood firm:
"If France is truly sincere, let it stay far away. We must finish cleansing our land of imperialist control and foreign-sponsored terror. Only after that can true diplomacy begin."
