Dream Detroit Skating Academy (DDSA) is making history as Detroit’s first Black-owned ice skating academy, founded by former competitive skaters Angela Blocker-Loyd and Candice Tamakloe. Along with Crystal Stewart, they launched DDSA to provide local youth access to rigorous figure skating training, from beginner lessons to competitive performance prep. They aim to bring world-class skating opportunities to Detroit and inspire the next generation of champions. ⛸️
