Founded in 1883, it was originally a manual trade school for boys and is now a coeducational institution that prepares students for STEM fields and higher education through programs like AP Capstone, Project Lead The Way, and various clubs. Although a public school in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, for students who lived outside of the city boundaries, paid tuition to attend.
