Sickle cell trait (carrying one sickle gene) provides natural protection against malaria, specifically severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum. The mutation evolved as an evolutionary survival mechanism in regions where malaria is endemic, as the body destroys infected sickle-shaped cells more rapidly, reducing parasite survival. Malaria is transmitted by the bite of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, which bears over 93% of the global malaria burden. These mosquitoes transmit the Plasmodium parasites, which thrive in tropical climates and cause high fever, chills, and severe illness. Sickle cell anemia is majority exclusive to people of African origin or descent. The fact that 90 plus percent of its victims are Black gives a systemic bias as to why the US government hasn’t initiated a broader, medically funded research effort to find a cure for this malady. If it protects Africans from malaria, there’s a possibility that this ailment holds more secrets in its genetic markings that can aid in fighting other diseases. Henrietta Lacks cellular genomes made the pharmaceutical industry trillions in revenue despite their claims that they profited only billions. If there's a profit to be made, this government will exploit it. Their common practice is Biblical: steal, kill, and destroy. To my shame, back in 2002, when I didn't own a cell phone, I watched an EMS team let a Black man suffering a seizure choke and die eventually in front of heavy traffic with witnesses. I looked at the man who was most definitely having a seizure because I have them. I was curious as to why the EMS paramedics refused to aid and assist him. They just watched as he struggled to breathe. I was looking at this happen right before my eyes. They didn't pull out the stretcher or apply oxygen. Later on I realized I was witnessing a negligent homicide. They let him die because he was Black. I left puzzled, but I know they never offered aid to that man. I'm going to defer from this initial commentary and direct the piece to other observations. The Father answers prayers even if they seem stagnant or late in coming. If he had the capacity to write legislation with a bit of intelligence and he stopped playing golf for a month, maybe he could. The man reads and writes on a 5th grade level; I’m being liberal. Russia has the weaponry, as does China. Throw in Mr. “How do you like my haircut,” Kim Jong Un, and Iran and their desire to see America fall, and you have 4 powerful allies waiting to usher in the downfall of Babylon the Great and the West.
