Are there any Black folks here that want to start discussing migration or reconstitution plans (meaning exclusively within the US) when all this is said and done? I'm personally not interested in topics regarding immigrating out of the country, there are a lot of spaces for that elsewhere but I can't find the conversation regarding migration in the US. I assure you i know WHY there are no dedicated spaces for that given the Black experience, so let's not beat a dead horse; bringing up events like Tulsa (since I'm setting the boundaries of the discussion) are only welcomed in a "this is what could have been done" perspective, while taking into the account the limitations that may no longer exists today.
I think we're dealing with a different set of tools, perspective, levels of education, wider access to information, higher rate of experience, and, most importantly, an actual armed population as opposed to the past.
There's a lot of lesson that can be taken from the past, and a lot of us are looking to bring that into the future and apply it accordingly to what's coming our way. Anyone insterested in discussing?
If so, what are your thoughts on (in a future where the US government has lost enforcement and support power) what Black people should do? Should they stay put where they are (and maintain the infrastructure the best they can), or pick a new location and build a new? Why on both points would be awesome.
I have my own thoughts, but I'll share those through engagement if anyone responds; I don't want to pigeon hole the discussion.
