HIS MERCY IS DIVINE, PART 2
I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die}. That's the favor we all seek with the Father, but aren't willing to give up our vices, secret sins that He sees, and the bitter rage in our hearts that's unforgiving. David was convicted by the Father’s mercy to tell all of Jerusalem that he wasn’t the one who shall build a temple for the ark of the covenant {1 Chronicles 28:2-3 Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building: 3 But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood}. Elijah spilled blood as well, the blood of Jezebel's false prophets. {1 Kings 18:19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table}. Elijah slayed them after they cut their flesh, prayed, and sacrificed to Baal; he mocked them openly as their god was of no effect. Elijah went so far as to tell them to make the altar for the Most High’s sacrifice seemingly impossible to burn Elijah’s offering. I'm not saying that Elijah was more faithful and steadfast than David, not at all. Elijah fled from Jezebel and hid in a cave, wishing death upon him. David asked Yahuah to take his life after the Father placed one of 3 possible curses on Jerusalem when David ordered a census to be taken throughout the land. Thousands were slain by the Father’s angel. David wept before the Most High to take his life and spare these lambs who suffered because of his disobedience. It was a showing of selfless sacrifice and penance. Obedience is better than sacrifice unless you're the savior of the world. It was the Father who knew David’s heart and spared Jerusalem and King David. Elijah overcame his fear of Jezebel, and Jehu killed her at the hands of 2 eunuchs when she tried to seduce him. Jezebel was too old to seduce men of a young age. Painting her face to hide the ugly mask of horror that lay beneath didn't fool Jehu. He killed her because she was a sorceress, a witch, and a whore. David fled from his son Absalom along with some of his faithful out of Jerusalem into the mountains. After having Uriah murdered in battle, the Father did not kill David, but he put him to an open shame as a part of his rebuke, yet the Most High still loved David. Throughout all of his faults, David still maintained a great model of faith that you might judge as faithless or lacking. In the book of Psalms, David wails and bemoans to the Father of Yisrael as his enemies overwhelm him round about. To the unknowing and unbelieving, this looks like a man lacking faith who is fearful at all times, but not by any means. David knew who made him King over Yisrael and who anointed him as King. More than that, he lived according to the Father’s will although he walked contrary at times as David was a lustful man who couldn't keep his lance in his pants or ephod. The Father talked to Elijah while he was in the cave. Moses talked to the Most High face-to-face; while on Mount Sinai, Moses and 70 elders sat with the Father, they broke bread and drank wine. {Exodus 24:9-11 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: 10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. 11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink}. He laid not His hand upon them. No one has seen the Father on earth save these men, as far as the Bible’s account goes. The Most High said if you see me, you have passed over, not Moses or these men. Yahusha said to be separate from the body is to be present with the Father for some. The Bible is a gift to those who have a relationship or understanding with the Father or the Holy Spirit. Atheists and agnostics will nitpick at the word, pointing out any discrepancy or contradiction they can’t interpret with a carnal mind. Believing in your new age religion that is based relatively on the Hebrew faith is heresy. On the Day of Judgment there will be no agnostics or atheists. You will either serve Yahuah or Satan in eternal rest or eternal torment. You will see the one who will judge all, including His saints; choose. Neither David nor Elijah was perfect on earth, but they are perfected in the flesh in heaven. Continue—
