Our people sometimes.... So yesterday I was traveling, and saw a Black owned restaurant and decided to pop in and grab a slice of cake or something light. Sister greeted me and I asked about the selections which turned out to be like one or two things, but she tried to sell me 3 of the things that clearly I said that I wasn't interested in. The last item was what I selected I asked her was it fresh, and good today? Emphatically yes! Then she began to give me the world's greatest sales pitch and sold me the tiniest slice of cake, and happily charged me $7 for it. Red flag number 3 or something? I lost count...

I took one bite and knew that I had been had. I had another bite to confirm and promptly threw it away.

Our people... We've got to stop hustling one another. If you're going to open a restaurant at least be able to cook... Really it's really my fault. I saw the red flags. 🚩🚩🚩 😅🤦🏾‍♂️
