What Did Black People Do...?

I've done everything right according to the American laws, I never broke any laws that landed me in prison, I got an education and I served for a country that murdered my family and yet I was polite and respectful towards everyone but that wasn't good enough and then it hit me.... Why am I carrying the weight of someone else's wrongdoings while they get away without being held accountable?
