I didn't allow any of our 3 sons to play football. I have an associate who played in the NFL for 10 years. He had 11 concussions, replaced both knees, a hip, one shoulder, and broke 27 bones on one hand. He earned $52M over his career. He can't stand up for more than 10 mins, he wears a morphine patch to manage his pain that he has to be weened off of in detox every 6 months to keep from fucking up his kidneys. I asked him did he have any regrets? He looked at me and said, "I would give all of the money up, to live one week, without being in excruciating pain". NFL, really stands for 'Not For Long'.
