I'm not that far along in the documentary. I honestly can't tell you when I first heard of Marcus Garvey. I want to say Sister Act 2. What happened to the followers of Garvey in America? I had African-American History in high school, taught by a black teacher, but I don't remember her teaching about him. I'm trying to understand why the majority of blacks born after 1940 don't talk about him.
