The reason I watch YouTube videos
About racism, cos I wanna know
It’s for educational purposes
And that it needs to be talked
About…. I want black people
To be woke, I want black people
To observe these type of white supremacy
Behaviors…..

This white man that I watched
Who called black people niggers
In his Facebook sayin he’s goin to hang
On a tree….yes its triggerin….

Though we have to be aware of
These people who call us n word….
It’s not ok….there’s a reason we need
To fight back…..there’s a reason for us to
Gain respect and dignity in our race group….

Cos people like that who has
Black friends and biracial family
Members are still racist…who has
White supremacy on his side….

We need to get rid of them
Take them back to the caves
We’re so tired….
Black people are tired…
Why are we lettin this happen?
Why are we lettin this be?

My mom told me to turn it down
So she doesn’t have to hear it
She asked me why are you listenin?
I told her I wanna know….

She doesn’t like how I watch YouTube on
Racism, well it triggers her she went through it
And she doesn’t want me to get angry…
It’s understandable….

Racism is curiosity…
People wanna know
People wanna learn
Even if the word nigger shakes you to the core….
So I write poems about it
Almost everyday
It needs to be talked about….
Now I don’t really have to do it..
But I feel like it’s the right thing to do
To help black people to be awake…

Yes black people do have the right to be angry
At white supremacy….we can’t be happy about it….
The sad part is that we’re not doin anythin
We’re not violent towards the system….
However more and more of us are wakin up…

The only thing I can do is to write poems about
Racism white supremacy
I’m also readin about it, too…..
Yes I get uncomfortable
Though I’m okay writin about it post it on the internet
White supremacy might ban my book about gaslightin
Them.. cos they’re takin down more books on
Black history
On their wrongdoings….

I’m not goin to be surprised….

Yet I’m surprised that
YouTube still has the truth up front
They will definitely take it down….
Soon…..

You gotta remember
White supremacy doesn’t wanna lose their power
White supremacy still wanna keep itself as a survival system…..
White supremacy still wanna keep being a bully on the planet….

This is why I warned black people about it….
This is why I write poems only to use my critical thinking skills
To help them think….
We’re supposed to be angry not angry enough….
It’s why I watch YouTube videos only to write poems
And educate people,
I do my research on stories about it…
You must know you must learn
You must tell someone who are thirsty for knowledge…

I don’t care if I have white friends
And white people help me
I don’t care about their feelings.,..
I don’t care about how uncomfortable they are….

Cos some know exactly what I’m talkin about….
They know I’m speakin the truth….
They know they’re benefitin from slavery and colonization…
Even some got offended…

I don’t wanna be quiet….
I don’t wanna keep it to myself….

You can’t shh people
About racism
When it’s there in our faces….
Especially black people….

It’s a system
We’re talkin about it
Though we’re not doin anythin
About it unfortunately…

I don’t see us gettin violent
Towards the system
Cos of our conditions…
Cos of Jesus and allah
Cos of fear
Cos of not havin self respect and dignity as
A black race…..

There’s no action
Like slave revolts
No revenge
Maybe there are some who
Are fightin back
And we don’t know about
It…..

If ableism can be in our mouth,
So is racism…
