What brings me peace?

Well
I write poems
I do draw in my sketchbook
Creativity brings me heaven…
A heaven to my soul…

It’s my joy…my pleasure…
Gives me at ease…
Ya know?

It makes me smile…

And I believe

That creative people are
Much needed
They’re helpers
For other people
Who need therapy sessions
And some kind of stimulation
That numbs the heartaches….

Cos

We live in a world
Where souls keep
Crumblin
Especially right now…

Maybe that’s why
We get distractin
But at the same time
We have to be aware of
Our surroundings….

We need a poem
We need a piece of art
We need a joke..
We need a song
We need to get us by

Another reminder
Humanity is extremely ill
And still there in their somebody’s heart….

What brings me peace?
It’s that I can bring a message
The truth
Those who wanna witness and
Listen
Those who get uncomfortable
When I gaslight…

Creative people
Are like helpin hands
In a way
We architect things
We amuse things
We place ourselves in somebody’s shoes…
And we feel..

I’m a creative person
I can do that with my metaphors
And sketches
I do it from the heart….

That’s what brings me peace…
