You are poisoned to our race
To our nation
We strongly dislike our melanin
It makes the system grow stronger
Heavier…
Black melaninated people
Don’t need your ass around…
We don’t…

You vanish our respect and dignity
You’re a lot of reasons why
We carry you around like a daily routine…

You have us
Gettin rid of
Our beautiful appearances
Like our coils our big nose our full lips
Bleachin our melanin out

To become white…
To look more European than ever…

You’re the conditions to where too many of
Us don’t have mirrors around the house…
You got my people denyin where they came from
And don’t read black history…

Oh black self hate
You got us rollin our eyes
At our own race, we can’t stand people who look like us…

You’re not suppose to be our shadow…
Not suppose to be our voice…

I feel like you’re a monster
That forever sustain our bones
Our souls…
You’re always keep holdin us back

I thought about Tyra banks talk show episode
And I posted it on Instagram. There was a black guy
Who has a really deep grained hatred for his melaninated self.
And hate his own race…in this particular part where he was a white guy
For a day… he loved it. When it was over, he started to cry…because he
Wanted to stay white forever….

Black people has self hatred for themselves and their own race
Still exists today…that mindset is heartbreaking…
White supremacy did that to us….
