Even after so many arguments
Like the breakup option was
Not in his heart…
I imagine those guys in the movies
Or romance novels who always fight
For the girls they want, they love
After big brawls…I’m not talkin about
Those types of men who abuse and
Manipulate women just cos they want control
I’m talkin about serious boyfriends and serious husbands
Who loves their women, the ones who doesn’t cheat
Lie, bring tears to their eyes…
They’re rare people…
I don’t really have a man
Who get scratches, bites, bleedin spots
Only to walk and drive miles to get closer
To feel my livin heartbeat …i mean it’s a sacrifice…
I have a boyfriend
I thought he would chase me around
Chase me down
Even when he’s already got me…
In reality
It’s not a Hollywood film…
Not a Disney classic romance
But it would be beautiful
That we can both fight for each other
For us…
I never really experience when
A guy who would punch many guys
To get to me
Push all the women away to come and get
Me whiskin me in his arms
Knowin
We love each other that hard….
A man who can pursue his women
Cos he adores her
He literally fucks her
All in the Name of love….
He knows in his gut feelin
She’s the one…
I mean think about Wayne and Wendy
From a different world
Remember that show
That man chased her tellin her he loves her
Askin her to marry her
And it was at her weddin…
She yelled Wayne
It gives me hope
It gives me soulmates together forever vibes
Indeed it made me cry
In the real world
None of that happened
Not for me…
Maybe some other women
Who are lucky to have boyfriends
And husbands who keep chasin them…
Breakup options are not in their hearts
Not their best interests…
Cos they love them….
I know
My boyfriend loves me….
I just don’t have the experience
Where after arguments
He never begs me to stay
With me
He’s not the kind of boyfriend
Who would be like textin me a million times
Sayin I’m sorry or call me a lot
He’s more like work things out
Kind of guy…
I mean he chase me but not the way
Other boyfriends chase their girlfriends
I’m not goin to change him…
I’m not goin to turn him into somethin
He’s not….
However
I did expect him to chase me all over the universe
Right after a war…
He messaged me he called
Even if i said
I don’t wanna talk to him anymore…
I’d still want him to go after me
If he loves me too much
And the fact that breakup wasn’t in his heart
And it wasn’t in mine either….

I wrote this poem cos I was inspired by a YouTuber who talked about mysteries and true crime. I heard her say a guy who was chasing a girl after a fight.. I don’t remember the whole story. Though I have a spark for a poem. Honestly I always wanted somebody who would fight for me after a big fight or even a breakup. That special person who loves me back would fight for my heart again and again after my feelings hurt. I would ignore and give a cold shoulder only to let them know what they did was wrong.
I wanna experience the break up is a no no, and we can work things out. It makes love more stronger than ever. I watched these couples in movies and tv series fighting and making up. Even though they’re make believe…
