The system is the villain
The system never wants a black couple
To be in love, to be married….
They say we ain’t allow the fairy black woman and the fairy black man
To be together in matrimony….
Does that sound familiar?
Does that sound like slavery?
A black man and a black woman ain’t allowed to
Be married til a massa said so….
That’s dumb and traumatic….

The system is tryin their best to program
Crazy ideas to hate each other, but they failed…
The system tried everythin to break them up
Cos they scared of black love….

One thing about Kara and Ekon is that they love
Themselves, and love each other….
They’re pro black…..
They said to each other, our love does matter….

And they both are willin to fight for it….
