Imhotep Charter High School in Philadelphia is leaving for Ghana. Students are doing a STEM service learning project. They have developed water filters with 3 D printers. They are traveling with 3D printers and will be teaching students from 11 different schools in Ghana how to make them. They are also taking a shipment of our reuseable menstrual pads that PASHI (Pan-African Sisterhood Health Initiative) made to donate to female students. Hoping to reduce school absences and shame due to not having menstrual hygiene items.
The students also took hundreds of lightly used sneakers for the youth.
