That’s what Thandie has kept in her
Heart and soul
She saw this boy’s face
In her sleep
In her daze
Though
She hasn’t met him yet
Never saw his gorgeous eyes
Before

She imagines
Swayin with him under the stars
She also see him get down on one knee
And asked her to be his wife….

She desires to be enchanted
And live happily ever after….
Her heart writes a love story to the moonlight
And manifests it….

She lays down on her bed
Daydreamin about a boy
Who loves her too….
Who would climb to her window
With a red rose….

There would be butterflies
Tickle her belly
She’d blush

When she knows, she will know
She just needs to stop being hardheaded….
And remind herself that
Maybe she needs to take care of her heart
And use her noggin

For a while for a long time….
There is no reason to rush
Real love ain’t got anywhere….

Thandie needs to
Learn how to stay alone
Startin to nurture
Guardin her heart….

Though she’s quick on her feet
To be ready….
She tends to believe
A boy came around
Is love at first sight…
It’s not the case
He’s another heartbreak….

When will she ever stop givin her soul away?
