Here’s the backstory of this video 🐟. This is a massive Asian sheepshead wrasse (also known as a Kobudai fish) named Yoriko watching very intently 👀 as a diver named Hiroyuki Arakawa hammers away at a crustacean (her dinner!) 🔨

Arakawa first met giant fish Yoriko at the gate of Hasama Underwater Park’s Shinto shrine, where he works as a caretaker 💚

Yoriko was sick and tired (she couldn’t catch her own food), so Arakawa cared for her until she was better, providing her a steady supply of crabs 🦀

The pair have now been friends for more than 30 years 🥹

“I guess she knows that I saved her.” 😭
