I wrote this poem in 2019 for my moms for mom dukes day. It's called, My 1st friend.
My 1st friend
Without you I could not be
My first address was in your belly
The first sound in my ears was the sound of love later I found out it was your heart beat above
You've been my day one from concepcion and from you I learned many life lessons
I wanted to take this time to say
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
