Hip Hop 50 year anniversary • Rap is like boxing. There are boxers who are the stars and superstars. They have great management and promotion teams. Then there are some who are lesser known but just as or talented or dangerous as any. These are the fights that never happen. The boxers camp won’t allow their star to risk it so they avoid those dangerous encounters. Your favorite rapper probably has rappers he avoids and these two are two that are dangerous encounters. You get on a song with any of them and you better bring your A game. Royce stepped out of the shadow of his friend Eminem which itself is not easy. But he did and forged his own path of notoriety to those that know. Black Thought reignited his awareness to the public with one of the best freestyles ever performed when he went on Funk Master Flex show.
