Moving overseas has taught me a valuable lesson....in America, the prevailing theme is of course, keep busy, loafing around is lazy.
To the contrary, work here still gets done, but idle time essentially is when the real work gets done.
You see, when you're constantly bombarded with being busy, you don't have time for self-care, for concentrating on righting wrongs. You're in constant "survival" mode, just moving from one crisis to another.
Taking time for you, your people, your struggle, is un-american.
