I hope young brothas and sistas can take that love and support other Black folks had in coming to the defense of that lone Black security guard in Alabama, and see how important it is to come together as a people to help our own. That inner self hatred and tribalism have kept us working against one another long enough. What we witnessed, no matter how small it may seem, should be the blueprint of coming to each other’s defense and building with one another .
