This was one of my Dad's favorite messages to pound into my head, along with:
- every tub rests on it's own bottom
- practice makes perfect/ if it first you don't succeed try
try again
- the early bird gets the worm
- waste not, want not
- T H I N K, and yes he would spell it out for the stupid.😂😂😂
- a hard head makes a soft behind
- I bought you into this world and I'll take you out
- and the ever so famous this is going to hurt me more than it's going to hurt you.
