When I was a Journalism student in L.A. in the early 90s, my professors would tell me "Get all your facts straight, all your research done before you submit your story. Don't rush the story if it ain't right."
It would seem journalism today has thrived on the opposite. How many times have you seen stories rushed out....and were wrong? How many times were retractions needed for a story, but never came?
Trust the media.
