It is simply amazing what the “primitive” inhabitants of ancient Egypt were capable of with only copper chisels.
Let modern sculptors explain how they did it thousands of years ago, and with such precision, from diorite, the hardness of which exceeds 8 points on the Mohs scale.
The legs of the statues show veins, and the cuticle (a roll of skin that surrounds the base of the nail plate) is visible on the fingertips. And all of this is created from one solid block of diorite!
Oh, and look at their faces.
