Peace so whats good MP? Peace to our new members. I have a question, how did you hear about MP? What was the call that brought you home?

I've been on MP since I believe 2017 or 2018 and was active until 2019. I just came back made a new page and seen a lot has changed since I had it last used the app. I was brought here by the Facebook group y'all had around 2017 or 2018. I was in that group.

I don't remember what brought me here, however I do know that it's #MP4LYFE i found my tribe here, some truly amazing friends I now call family!!! I'm truly grateful for for creating this app, now we have our own melanated owned and run social media site to be free to teach one another and love and support each other! 💯💪🏾🫶🏾

The Title “Melanated People” Drew me in. Then I met Sir O and his Queen in Chicago at my Wellness & CBD Diapensary and it was a wrap.

I had been looking for an app like this for awhile, so I did a Google search for an all melinated social app and saw this one, decided to try. The reviews on Google Play says there’s a lot of glitches for the Android version, so I tried the one for IPad.😊

I'm late on this post, but what brought me hear was the comments of some of my military "brethren" during the whole George Floyd incident. long story short, after arguing with one of my comrades about disparities/unequal justice/extreme use of force when not called for, i had an epiphany: his comment were "(WE) don't kill where we sleep/(one) group of people fill the prison/(WE) don't have the same criminal stats of (YALL)." This led me to fully understand that, so long as "others" never experience the traumas and never live through the trials of one group of people, it would never be comprehensible to "them"; "they" literally cannot understand, cannot empathize, and cannot rationalize what has been going on for decades to reduce and belittle our people. regardless of what others think, say, or believe, there is only one thing in this world that gets people's attention: resources/money/leverage/knowledge/LAND. after that argument, there was no point to attempt to get the person to see/feel/understand "how" someone else would perceive the incident; to him, and an ungodly amount of military people like him, it was strictly "broke the law/he's "your" people/yall are all the same/the stats from "MY" government says I'm right/etc, etc". At that point, regardless of how small my actions were and have been, everything I did, and am doing, is to build or influence "my" people's progression in this world. this includes using black/Negro-owned (minority owned includes women, LGBTQ, foreign nationals, etc) platforms like this social media, using "webuyblack.com" FIRST instead of amazon, and using any/all of my money with people who would be considered "black/Negroes" first before going to Wal-Mart/farmers market/anything-any place that would need currency.

note: I specifically say "Negro"/black because a "Negro" in the USA is a minority just like women, LGBTQ, handicapped, etc. this is one reason why HBCUs are having issues with funding because they are literally competing with everyone who are also considered "minorities". I could be wrong and I am happy and opened to being out-right corrected, but that is what i know from reading the bills/laws/sanctions within the LOC.GOV and congress.gov.
