I can say it’s too difficult
To find love….
Still the society
Thinks
We’re not humans
We don’t exist
Our bodies are not made
To fuck our lovers…

Society loves myths
They do love myths
Which makes the datin world
Is so unaccessible….
It’s not wheelchair accessible
Not a walker accessible…
We still have to still climb the stairs
To reach our soulmates’ hearts….

We can love

We can get married
And grow old with someone who
Adores us completely….

Isn’t really fair to fair
People walk away
After the same ol rejection
You feel like
You wanna give up
On somethin way too beautiful….

It’s tough
Able bodied people
Got it easy…
They got first glance
And first smile
And what we get,
Well we get friendzone
Or turn the other cheek…
I’m not sayin
They got it easy
All the time
Somehow
It feels that way…

Makes it tougher
For people with disabilities
People be like
Can you have sex?
Can you have a sensation?
Yes we fucked
We get horny…
Some don’t have the patience
Some say i don’t wanna have a
Relationship with a retard…
People do think way

We’re
Here
We do
Have the right to fall in love
It’s why we have a way to
Smash these walls down
And face the datin world
In the eye….

Datin world
Should have ramps
And elevators
Just to raise the bar up
To the top
For catchin someone’s heart
In our each hand…

We want a love story
We want I love yous
We want together forever kind of romance
That keeps us warm and happy…

We want simple things…

I’ve been watching this series on Netflix called down with love and another one is love on the spectrum. It made me tear up. People with disabilities deserve beautiful love stories that can last a lifetime. It does pull my heartstrings. Y’all should watch it…the cutest thing about it is when a guy asks a girl to be his girlfriend. It’s so romantic. And the mom got emotional. 💙 it is the sweetest thing ever.
