For me, I've noticed our collective will fight with each other about what we call ourselves. I'm not black I'm this, I'm not that I'm this, etc. The one thing undisputable is science. Melanin. You can't say I'm not melanin dominant and your dark as midnight. This is why I refer to us as melanated.
