This! Growing up I had calloused hands, and complaining was FORBIDDEN!!! Other kids chores were like take out the garbage, mine were like paint the house. Alone! I didn't just cut the grass I did the Landscaping. Allowance, what's that? I had to earn every cent, and as a result I have a great work ethic, and an optimistic can-do attitude. Nothing is impossible, but sometimes we got to go through hell to get right.
