For nearly 400 years, Black Americans have faced genocide and ethnocide. It is still not being addressed or rectified globally, so why should I care about #palestine or Israel if neither hasn't moved a finger or raised a voice on our behalf for half a millennium? F*ck them 🫵🏿

Palestine was so outraged at the killing of George Floyd, that some of their activists painted a mural of him on the border wall.

Russia-Ukraine is one thing which isn’t our business, except for the part where Russia pretends to empower African nations against their colonial powers, but it benefits them as a way of distracting NATO member troops. This turns African nations’ militaries into pawns in exchange for the promise of resources from Russia.

However, Israel is EXTREMELY anti-black (yitzhak Yosef with the monkey remarks against their OWN Black citizens, for example, or how they’ve been systemically decreasing support for BHI residents for another, especially Dimona City).

If we don’t stand with those being colonized now, especially living in a land of THEIR allies, then watch how fast they’ll come for us after they’ve gained more power over them.

The Divide-and-Conquer pattern is as OLD AS TIME. It’s the same reason we got here from Biafra in the first place. Now that we know better, we can either do better or just stock up on more liquor so it won’t hurt as much when they shoot us, because they WILL.

Imagine the safe space we might find, though, if we only just fight the pro-right-wing propaganda against Palestine, and the UN responds by stopping Israeli colonization & declaring them independent! They’ll be telling us to come live with them to escape White Supremacists here! They’ll be inviting South Sudanese refugees & African migrant workers to come live there to escape conflict, poverty, & worker mistreatment in Europe!

And just for the record, to be completely fair, YES, Jewish people have formed aid missions, labor rights advocacy, & other civil rights initiatives for Black Americans during the first 20 years after WWII. Escapees from concentration camps who remember their segregation were actually horrified whenever they visited the South & saw it being done to our elders/now ancestors (most Ashkenazi Jewish people in were in NYC, so they didn’t know, but the ones who left were angry at antiblackness).
During the early years of the actual Nation-State of Israel, they also accepted ANY AND ALL BLACK HEBREW ISRAELITES who chose to become dual or exclusive Israeli citizens without questioning or asking proof of their Jewish lineage. It was therefore a safe space for those of us who chose to go and escape White Supremacy, so YES, they not only prayed for AND with Black Americans in their own synagogues, but they also GAVE Black Americans a safe place to escape.

Now that the far-right Conservative Party has taken over their government, they’re developing propaganda to reverse all that, but it’s not easy, since they’d lose much of their current military power by doing so (all Israeli citizens who are healthy enough must serve a while starting at age 18).

Of course not, because they are too busy trying to claim an identity that is not their own. Israel is not even over there…even Columbus knew that….came to America looking for Jerusalem.
