Peace family, based on a good conversation with my wife, I would like to pose the following question to you: What criteria should we use to vet leaders and/or public speakers for our people or organizations? By what means do we determine if they are worthy ethically of leading or working on behalf of us?

That is a very good question and it unfortunately is not going to be answered honestly because we just don't know deep down inside if people truly are ethical ..I know I am but you may not believe me ..not that I'm trying to lead ..because the only place I want to lead us to is the oppressor's house to burn it down. I could be wrong in my thinking but I'm not ..but that's just me.

Power Through Peace. I do not think we can vet anyone that we don't actually spend time with. How about we start nominating from within? We all cast a nominee for certain roles/positions/office, etc. Most true leaders are humble and too busy actually changing things to seek public recognition. Like for instance... I would nominate to be The Women's Etiquette Leader/Teacher based upon what I have seen publicly. Now it would be up to another one of us in our community to say, I do not believe so because... If not and there is no objection from the nominee, we proceed forward like that. I don't think our people should run/pay to play, I think we should uplift them to their positions. I believe this also will provide a deeper sense of accountability of all parties. That's my 8 cents.

Thx Sis but for starter's I don't believe in leaders..we are all capable of leading self. Being of the ancestors born to be the most powerful humans ever to exist in Africa. Personally I do me, for me, and by me. UNITY yes but no one is greater are lesser than the other. To answer your question Derek working to speak on behalf for our people anyone can do. Under the understanding of loyalty and trust. How has that worked throughout history? I choose to stand alone but would I fight yes as a whole. Loyalty and trust is earned not given. I been there to many times only to be standing alone at the end. Look around and look at us. I'm old school it's not the same. Who do you trust? Yes there were BROTHERS and SISTERS TRUSTWORTHY. We are more divided now than ever in history.i came in love and kindness and how many dagger's are in my back? IDGAF but I stay for the cause. Everyone has a breaking point would you not agree? I paid my dues to society for our people. Leadership no I bow to no one other than my creator. Great questions my brother. I don't need to use fancy words to get understanding.💜
