I learned and relearned
New words today…
I look up the definition
And comprehend…
We should all know
Our vocabulary
Especially when we’re writers
We Expand
We express…
It’s our passion to carry new words
Deep in our souls….
I learned
Time and time again
Definitions changed
But the origin doesn’t….
I don’t understand why
Meanin changes all the time…
Only to confuse people
When we read a book….
Why?
For new words
Etymology
Study of words’ skeletons
Like we dig up the soil of every letter…
Old words
Are beautiful artifacts…
And we writers
Use them wisely…
