A loaf of a particular brand of bread we eat cost $3.00 at a Giant food store in the suburb. The EXACT same loaf of bread cost $4.50 at the ShopRite in the city, in the Black community. It’s sh*t like this that speaks to the subtleties of racist economic policies that we as a community deal with, if we lack the option to buy the product for the cheaper price.
