We watch Hollywood romances and Disney
Only to expect a prince Charmin to come our way...
In reality, it doesn't happen to us all the time...
Young love doesn't last for everyone....
It does grow stronger for some...
Cos when two people decide not to break up,
They knew in their souls they're goin to make it....
No matter how difficult it is....

For me I had crushes durin high school and junior high,
No boyfriends throughout the grades...
I only watched couples in class and hallways,
Imaginin me and a boy would fall in love
Doin the puppy love stuff...
I sighed
Thinking why it could be me he puts his eyes on....

I ain't goin to lie, I was desperate for love...
And it was bad...
I wanted a boyfriend...I wanted a relationship
I wanted to be with someone who got a crush on me, too...
There's nothin wrong with that....
