San people (or Saan), are members of various indigenous hunter-gatherer people of Southern Africa, whose territories span Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Nelson Mandela is one of the most iconic historical figures with saan ancestry. This only goes to show the diversities found in the African race.
