Our Kwanzaa feast yesterday was baked chicken, rice, and sautéed onions, mushrooms, and grape tomatoes.
Today's feast started with salmon croquettes, grits, biscuits, bacon, and eggs for breakfast. Just finished cooking dinner: fried catfish, black eyed peas, cabbage, and yams. There are leftover biscuits and croquettes from breakfast to makeup for the lack of cornbread.
Like my husband says about me, don't think that I'm from the country and can't cook. I can cook; I don't LIKE to cook, which is one of the perks of being married to someone who does.
