Octavia Butler - Wildseed Series, Lilleth Series, Parable Series (I've read all of her work... even some college shorts I found somewhere Love her Great Mind!

Message to the Black Man In America by Elijah Muhammad. I feel that EVERYONE should read this book... You are bound to disagree, but it's still necessary reading

Anything Napoleon Hill - My favorite Outwitting the Devil, and Think and Grow Rich, but really all of his work.

Tim Ferriss - The 4 Hour Work Week

I can suggest tons of books, but it's a bit difficult without knowing what you're into, and what you've read... On the other side obviously I read a bunch of men so I have almost no suggestions if you want romance novels. Lol
