Normal has gone and went and will not be looking back. Stop hoping for a fiction that never was and never will be. These are the good times. Have fun with that because you will be longingly looking back soon enough.
If these are your bad times and you are waiting for the good times to return then you are not going to have a good time with that. The long road ahead is going to get rough and the journey will take many years. Your religion and politics will fail you along the way. It will be you and your long road. Hopefully you will have company and supplies for your journey.
