Like Marcus Garvey?
Well cos
I like his ideology…
His idea was to have black people
To be on their own…
Have our own shit
Without any colonial involvement….

I love that
A lot
Cos we don’t need a
White man we don’t need
To follow his systematic rule….

And we did it before
Way before Marcus was around

It was actually a black planet…
Full of melaninated people everywhere
In their natural environments
In their used to be homelands
Without any white folks around

I know that’s hard to believe…
It’s true…there were original people
Who look like us…..

I think marcus knew
I believe Marcus was tryin to get back to that….
But

We all know exactly how it goes…
Racism won’t let him do it….

Heard somebody’s conspiracy theory
That he got killed givin him those strokes
In Jamaica cos all he wanted to do the right thing for
His people and that’s what scares white people off…

Look if you wanna learn about black leaders
You know their own positions
Their own spots
You gotta know in your mind that to do right thing
For the people who looks like you gives so much sour
To white supremacy’s mouth….black leaders are the sour candy
That white supremacy is too afraid to choke on…
You need to know…and it’s alright to be that sour candy….

And Marcus was that candy white supremacy couldn’t chew at all…
