Adds chimpanzee ๐Ÿต to my list that rhymes with BUCKET!

Photo of Charla Nash from 2016, seven years after she was almost killed by her friendโ€™s pet chimpanzee, Travis.

Her injuries were incredibly horrific. Nash lost 9 fingers, her nose, eyes, lips, and mid-face bone structure and received significant brain tissue injuries. Doctors even had to remove chimp hair and teeth that had been implanted into her bones.

Nash required hours of surgery after the attack, and after her jaw was reattached she later flew to Ohio for an experimental facial transplant.

After the cops shot Travis to death, a toxicology report determined the chimpanzee had been given Xanax on the day of the attack. Sandra Harold, the owner of Travis, had reported this to police, but it's thought the drug may have fuelled his aggression.

On May 24, 2010, 15 months after the attack, Sandra Herold died suddenly of a ruptured aortic aneurysm at the age of 72.

In November 2012, Nash reached a settlement with Herold's estate andChilling 911 call placed by Sandra Herold in 2009 after Travis, her Chimpanzee, attacked her friend, Charla Nash. Travis blinded Nash, severed several of her body parts, and caused severe lacerations to her face.
