Is that white supremacy
Makes sure
He doesn’t have too much power
To overthrow the system..

Includin
Myself
Has celebrated the so called
Victory
Cos we had a first black president
In the White House…
We wanted him to be black
I guess…

I voted for him way before
I knew about the whole system

White folks were terrified
But their system kept him in line…

Between Obama
And a million of white presidents
I was concerned about
His safety durin
The presidency march..
And with the millions of
White presidents
There’s no worries
Cos

When you saw a black man
Walkin with his black wife
Goin into the White House
For the first time, you would assume
Some person came around hidin
The bushes and kill him

Cos he’s black…cos he’s got melanin in
His skin…

He wasn’t a black leader
To us…he wasn’t that kind of
Man who unites black people..
We get a lot of high expectations..
We cried we sang we shall overcome
Not realizin white supremacy still has
That grip on him…

We don’t see him
As a puppet when
He led this country…
