On Easter Sunday
When Jesus rose
Right?
But death has risen….
Black people got slaughtered
In the streets
But we’re supposed to be
About Jesus
Though white men got mad
For losin their votes

One of their own shot bullets
To their leader by accident
And they started pointin their weapons
On black people like it’s their fault….

Yet we suppose to
Praise Jesus for his risin
On that day, on that bloody Easter
Sunday
Nobody went to the church

Loved ones cried
Cos there was a massacre
All cos of their bloodshed from
Angry white men
Actually angry white folks…
