Turned into bloody bath
All over the town
Cos black farmers demanded for high pay wages
And get rent on land
Guess who killed them…

Those white folks
They were like how dare you
With guns in hand
Startin to shoot….
And shoot all the black people
Who asked for the simplest things…

Just to breathe and live
Like the rest of white America
Or the fact they wanted to be on their own….

Yet we get so much violent harrassment
For being black…
Why the massacre?
Cos we wanna work and provide our
Families want our boss to raise our wages

So we can help ourselves to survive…

But no y’all slaughtered us to the bone..,,
Now Thibodaux is haunted cos of the blood
On your hands…cos sugar canes became
Bloody bath…..

It’s no wonder why white America
Don’t wanna talk about critical race theory
Cos there are a lot of bloodstains everywhere..,
Especially towns will always keep remindin
What exactly they did..horrific memory
