The REAL Omar from the HBO Series 'The Wire'. The character Omar was loosely based on this brother, Donnie Andrews (RIP), from West Baltimore. Donnie was not gay, and was fearless, and ruthless. He lived by a street code that never crossed paths with ordinary citizens. His primary lick was robbing drug trap houses, drug dealers, and crap games! He died young, of a heart attack at 59 years of age. The Wire is based loosely on his life. Real talk, if they make a tv show about your illegal business in the street, then give you cameo appearances in the same show, you a bad m'fer. This brother was not to be trifled with.
