also known as Toussaint L' Ouverture/Toussaint Bréda...was the former freeman Governor-General in Saint Domingue whom led the Haitians to their freedom in 1804..known as the "Haitian Revolution" with his partner lieutenant, Jean-Jacques Dessalines. HAITI IS KNOWN AS THE FIRST BLACK FREE REPUBLIC IN THE WORLD!!
